Spain: LaLiga member of a working group to "boost the influence of Spanish sport"

The National Sports Council (CSD) and the organisation "España Global", responsible for promoting the international development of Spanish sport, are setting up a working group with an objective "to boost the external influence of Spanish sport," announced LaLiga on 17/04/2019.

"The work of this group will focus on the development of a common platform that promotes the Spanish sport model at an international level and designs a joint strategy aimed at valuing our sport as an economic and social factor of great relevance. It will also establish mechanisms for detecting and defending against external threats to the reputation of our sport," said LaLiga.

The Spanish League is one of the bodies that will participate in this working group at bi-monthly meetings, including the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), the Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE), the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), the World Football Summit and the Spanish Sports Association (ADESP).
