Italy: deal between the FIGC and the Italian Revenue Agency to check the financial balance of clubs

The FIGC and the Italian Revenue Agency (body created on 01/01/2001) will exchange data to check the financial balance of clubs, announced the Italian Football Federation on 19/04/2019.

The director of the Agency, Antonino Maggiore, and the president of the Italian Football Federation, Gabriele Gravina, have signed a memorandum of understanding authorising the exchange of useful information to verify the financial balance of the clubs and thus ensure the smooth running of the competitions," explained the FIGC.

The agreement is valid until 28/02/2020, at which time it may be renewed for the following seasons.

"Taxes relating to declarations within the tax periods closed on 31/12/2012 to 31/12/2017" (FIGC)
