ACF Fiorentina: turnover of €110.2m (-41.7%) and a net loss of €15.8m in 2018

ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) has posted a turnover of €110.2m for the financial year 2018 (from 01/01 to 31/12/2018), down 41.7% compared to 2017 (€189.1m), according to the Italian club on 18/04/2019.

"The decrease in turnover compared to 2017 is mainly due to the decrease in revenue related to capital gains on player transfers from €88.8m to €9.6m in 2018," said the club, which posted a net loss of €15.8m in 2018, compared with a net profit of €37.1m in 2017.

Excluding player trading, the Florence-based club posted revenue of €100.63m in 2018, stable year-on-year (€100.32m in 2017). TV rights, which amount to €57.6m, are Fiorentina's most important source of revenue, representing 52% of turnover in 2018.
