Premier League: turnover of €104.2m in 2012-13 for Everton FC, up 7.3%

Everton FC (Premier League) achieved a turnover of £86.4m (€104.2m) during the 2012-13 season, up 7.3% compared to the previous season (£80.5m, €97.1m), the club said during the presentation of its annual results for the fiscal year 2013 (01/06/2012 to 31/05/2013), on 30/01/2013.

The "Toffees" explain this £5.9m (€7.1m) increase in turnover by:
- their commercial revenue, £2.3m (€2.8m)
- their income from TV rights, £2.9m (€3.5m), thanks to the sixth place finish in the Premier League standings in 2012-13, one better than in 2011-12
- their ticket sales, £0.7m (€0.8m) due to an increase of 3,148 spectators on average during Premier League matches between 2011-12 (33,208 spectators on average) and 2012-13 (36,356)

The Liverpool-based club's payroll remains stable, decreasing slightly from £63.4m (€76.5m) in 2011-12 to £63m (€76m) in 2012-13, however the payroll/revenues ratio fell six percentage points to 73% in 31/05/2013.
