ISMA - the International Sports Museums Association created in Lisbon (POR) on 23/04/2019

"The constitution of the ISMA (International Sports Museums Association) was officially signed today. The ceremony took place at Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião in Lisbon (POR)," announced ISMA, on 23/04/2019.

"This association, formed by museums and sports clubs of international magnitude holding a vast sports cultural heritage, believes that its preservation represents a noble act of protection and identity definition of its members," added ISMA, which counts Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Liga NOS), Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) among its founding members.

"Any Clubs, societies, associations, groups, or other sports collective organisations or entities with their own sports related-collections that wish to become members may apply to the ISMA," added the Association.
