Commission Report: "Towards a sustainable model of French football"

"Strengthening the regulation of the transfer market and the supervision of the activities of sports agents" (Proposal 4), "changing the system of social security contributions from the salaries of players" (Proposal 7) and "preparing for the possible evolution of the VAT tax on ticket sales" (Proposal 9) are some of the nine proposals in the report "Towards a sustainable model of French football," submitted by Jean Glavany, the president of the commission to Valérie Fourneyron, Minister of Sports, Youth, Popular Education and Community Life, on 29/01/2014.

"I took my responsibilities seriously. This report concerns the general interest of football, this is not the sum of individual interests. This report reflects only me and me alone and my personal conception of the general interest of football," said Jean Glavany in presenting the report of 33 pages.
