Bundesliga: food brand Wiesenhof shirt sponsor of Werder Bremen until 2015-16

German food brand Wiesenhof has extended its partnership with Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) as its main shirt sponsor, announced the club on 07/02/2014. The company, specialising in poultry, will be associated with the club until the end of the 2015-16 season.

Wiesenhof has been the shirt sponsor of Werder Bremen since the summer of 2012. The contract is estimated at €8m per year, excluding bonuses. Wiesenhof boasts a large display on the different elements on the Weser Stadion advertising boards (42,100 seats) as well as on the communication media of the club.

"This partnership is really worth it, because it allows us to objectively show people how we work. Most people are now convinced that we work well. There are also those who do not change their minds," said Peter Wesjohann the CEO of Wiesenhof. The brand belongs to the PHW group that has experienced several food and social scandals in recent years.
