Germany: cooperation agreement between the DFB and the Shanghai Football Association (CHN)

The German Football Association (DFB) and the Shanghai Football Association (SFA, affiliated to the CFA, the Chinese Football Association) have signed a one-year cooperation agreement at the DFB headquarters in Frankfurt (GER) on 02/05/2019.

"The associations agree with the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to intensify the exchange in numerous areas relevant to football. The central contents include the training of coaches, the organisation of competitions and the promotion of amateur football. The transfer of practical know-how at the administrative level is also to be expanded and measures to promote football culture in Shanghai are to be implemented," said the DFB.

The signatories of the Memorandum of Understanding:
• Rainer Koch, first vice-president of the DFB, and Friedrich Curtius, secretary general of the DFB, German side.
• Zhu Guanghu, president of the Shanghai Football Association, and Qin Guorong, deputy secretary general of the SFA, Chinese side.
