MLS: Club Atlético de Madrid will be the second Spanish club to play the All-Star Game on 31/07/2019

Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) will face a team of the best MLS players at the North American League's 2019 All-Star Game in Orlando, Florida (USA), on 31/07/2019, according to the Spanish club and Major League Soccer on 02/05/2019. The match will take place at Orlando City Stadium (25,500 capacity), the home of Orlando City Soccer Club (MLS).

"The atmosphere in Orlando will be intense and memorable when Atletico de Madrid take on the MLS All-Stars. Atletico de Madrid joins the list of the many prominent clubs in global soccer to play in our midseason showcase, and we know the passionate supporters that make up The Wall and the rest of Orlando City Stadium will provide a distinctive home-field advantage for the MLS All-Stars," said Don Garber, commissioner of the North American League.

The All-Star Game 2019 will be the 15^th consecutive edition in which the "MLS All Stars" will face a European team. Club Atlético de Madrid are the second LaLiga Santander club invited to participate in the match, after Real Madrid CF in 2017 (1-1, Real won 4-2 on penalties).
