• The official MLB Major League Baseball, the North American professional baseball league  Facebook page had nearly 7.16 million likes on 02/05/2019, virtually the second best total among the franchises of the league.

Seven teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, Dodgers, Giants, Cardinals, Tigers) accounted for 50% of the total likes accumulated by MLB franchises, on 01/05/2018:

4 franchises saw their number of Facebook likes decline between 01/04 and 01/05/2019

• The Houston Astros posted the best growth in absolute value on Facebook (+7,419 likes) between 01/04 and 01/05/2019, as well as the best percentage growth (+0.6%).
