Tottenham Hotspur FC - Liverpool FC: the 2019 Champions League final will pit two Premier League clubs against each other at the Wanda Metropolitano de Madrid (68,00 capacity) in Spain - the home of Club Atlético de Madrid since 2017 - on Saturday 01/06/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET). This will be the 10^th consecutive final played on a weekend rather than on a Wednesday.

It will also be the second 100% English Champions League final, after the one held in 2008, which was won by Manchester United FC versus Chelsea FC (1-1, 6-5 on penalties, at the Luzhniki Stadium, in Moscow, RUS) on 21/05/2008.

The two 2019 finalists were each beaten in the first leg of the semi-finals, Tottenham in their brand new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by Ajax (Eredivisie) 1-0, and Liverpool at the Camp Nou versus FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) 3-0. However, Liverpool overturned the result by winning 4-0 at Anfield on 07/05/2019, Tottenham then turned their situation around by winning 2-3 at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam (NED), after being 2-0 down at half-time, on 08/05/2019.
