China: Wuhan DDMC extends LaLiga Santander broadcasting rights until 2025

Wuhan DDMC Culture Co. has extended its broadcasting rights for LaLiga Santander in China, Macao and Taiwan for the 2022-2025 period, announced the Chinese company on 06/05/2019.

Wuhan DDMC Culture Co. acquired the same rights for the end of the 2017-18 season until the 2021-22 season on 02/04/2018.

The current contract (until 2021-22) is estimated at €300m in total, or an average of €60m per season of the five-year agreement, according to the English language Chinese website Caixin global. The value of the new agreement has not been communicated.
