Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (May 2019)

The 18 clubs involved in the 2018-19 Bundesliga season have more than 118 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/05/2019. The Bundesliga is the fourth most popular Top 5 league on these three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League and the Serie A TIM, with an average of nearly 6.6 million fans per club.

FC Bayern Munich is the most popular German club with nearly 71 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with 25.7 million. FC Schalke 04 completes the Bundesliga podium with over 4.2 million fans.

Eintracht Frankfurt is the German club with the best percentage growth on each of the three social networks. During the month of April 2019, the 2018-19 Europa League semi-finalists gained more than 30,000 followers on Instagram, the social network upon which Bayern Munich reached the 16 million mark, a month after Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Sport Verein Werder Bremen reached 1 million likes on Facebook.
