Lega Serie A: a "global, modern and iconic" new logo for the Serie A from 2019-20

"There are only a few days left before the end of the 2018-19 season (Matchday 36 from 11 to 13/05/2019), but Lega Serie A is already looking to the future. From 2019-20, the first division will present itself with a new logo, created as part of a plan to renovate the Lega Serie A brands and its competitions," announced the Italian professional league on 09/05/2019.

"In this new global, modern and iconic logo, developed in collaboration with Ragù Communication (a Rome-based agency, ITA), the "A" is reinforced in its centrality and is represented as a diamond, perfect and precious, full of facets that enhance its value and symbolise the teams and champions who make our league unique," said the Lega Serie A.

"This logo is another step towards the new identity of the Lega Serie A, a historic brand recognised around the world by millions of fans and enthusiasts. The new challenges are the conquest of increasingly important international markets and the recognition of our product worldwide," said Gaetano Miccichè, president of the Lega Serie A, on 09/05/2019.
