LaLiga: opening of a permanent academy in China accessible for all Spanish clubs in 2021

"LaLiga, together with China Sports Futurity Investment (CSFI) and the governments of the city of Kunming and the county-city of Anning have today in Madrid (ESP) unveiled the agreements for the creation of LaLiga's first permanent academy in China and the establishment of a youth tournament between LaLiga Santander and Chinese clubs," announced the Spanish league on 06/05/2019.

The LaLiga Academy, which will be located in Anning County (southwest China) and named LaLiga Football Academy Kunming, is part of a €500m real estate project, of which €40m will be dedicated to the Academy, including nine grass pitches, several multi-sport pitches, a specialised medical centre, a football museum and leisure areas. The complex is scheduled to open in the second half of 2021.
