Ligue 1 Conforama: Matchday 38 advanced to Friday 24/05/2019 at request of the Ministry of Interior

"At the request of the Ministry of the Interior of the French State, Matchday 38, the final round of the Ligue 1 Conforama has been advanced one day from Saturday 25 to Friday 24/05/2019, with simultaneous kick-off at 21:00 CET to maintain the holding of the last 10 games of the season at the same time to ensure sporting equality," announced the LFP on 10/05/2019.

The decision of the Ministry of the Interior is explained by the continued priority mobilization of law enforcement for the "Gilets Jaunes" ("Yellow vests") protests throughout France, which have been repeated in different cities every Saturday since November 2018, as well as for the European elections, which will take place on Sunday 26/05/2019.

"As a result, the Play-off 2 of Domino's Ligue 2 (game between the 3^rd place and the winner of the Play-off 1 between 4^th versus 5^th place), scheduled to take place on the same day (Friday 24/05/2019) will have its kick-off time advanced to at 18:00 CET," said the French League.
