Manchester City FC are the 2018-19 English champions after their 4-1 win at Brighton & Hove Albion FC in Matchday 38, the final round of the Premier League on Sunday, 12/05/2019. The Manchester club ended the season with 98 points (32 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses, 95 goals scored and 23 conceded), one point more than Liverpool FC (97 points). Manchester City retain their title, something that no Premier League club has done since Manchester United FC in 2008-09.

This is Manchester City's sixth English title after 1936-37, 1967-68, 2011-12, 2013-14 and 2017-18. It is also the fourth time that the club has won the Premier League since it was bought by Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment in 2008.

Six-time English champions, Manchester City have climbed to sixth place among the most frequently crowned English clubs, behind Manchester United FC (20 titles), Liverpool FC (18), Arsenal FC (13), Everton FC (9) and Aston Villa FC (7). Chelsea FC and Sunderland AFC have also won the elite division 6 times each.
