LaLiga Santander: a record of 128,249 members for Club Atlético de Madrid in 2018-19

Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) have ended the 2018-19 season with 128,249 members, "truly historic figures that we had never reached before in our 116 years," said the Spanish club on 14/05/2019.

The Madrid club had passed the 100,000 members mark in February 2017, and reached 122,190 members by the end of the 2017-18 season. This figure increased by 5% during the 2018-19 season.

57,813 of Club Atlético de Madrid's members (45% of the total) are season ticket holders for the club's matches at the Wanda Metropolitano (67,703 capacity). The other 70,436 are "club members" who have several advantages (invitation to a match, discounts, priority purchase for certain matches, free access to matches of youth and women's teams) in exchange for their membership. The price to become a "club member" costs €58 per season and new members can register throughout the season.
