Bundesliga: Schwarzwaldmilch (dairy products) extends as shirt sponsor of SC Freiburg

Schwarzwaldmilch, a dairy company based in Freiburg (Baden-Württemberg, Germany), has extended as a shirt sponsor of SC Freiburg (Bundesliga) from 2019-20, according to the club on 13/05/2019. "The dairy cooperative extended its contract as SC Freiburg's main shirt sponsor ahead of schedule," said the club, which has not yet communicated the duration of the partnership.

Schwarzwaldmilch is a main partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the German club. The brand will continue to be displayed on the front of the SC Freiburg shirts, whether the club plays in the Bundesliga or in the 2.Bundesliga.

Schwarzwaldmilch has been displayed on the German club's kits since the 2016-17 season following an agreement on 27/04/2016. Schwarzwaldmilch succeeded the Bavarian dairy group Ehrmann, shirt sponsor of SC Freiburg for the 2009-2016 cycle. Ehrmann paid an estimated €2.5m while the club played in the Bundesliga, and €1m while it was in the 2.Bundesliga.
