Brand Finance: Real Madrid the football club with the top brand value (€1.646bn, +26%) in 2019

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), with a brand valuation of €1.646bn (+26% year-on-year), tops the 2019 ranking established by the American company Brand Finance, a specialist in economic valuation of brands, in its annual "Football 50" report published on 16/05/2019.

In the 2019 brand value ranking, Real Madrid is ahead of Manchester United FC (Premier League), which ranked first in 2018, but who saw a decrease from €1.562bn in 2018 to €1.472 bn (-5.8%). Two other top 10 English clubs also saw their brand value decrease in 2019: Chelsea FC (7^th, €968m, -1.8%) and Arsenal FC (9^th, €895m, -0.8 %). In the top 10, with the exception of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama, 8^th at €914m, +21.3%) is the club whose brand value has increased the most compared to the 2018 report.
