Bundesliga: Derbystar presents the official 2019-20 match ball for the German 1^st and 2^nd divisions

The German sports equipment brand Derbystar and the DFL have presented the "Bundesliga Brillant APS", the official match ball of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga for the 2019-20 season, in Hamburg (GER) on 17/05/2019.

"On 26/07/2019, the new Bundesliga Brillant APS will be used in a regular season game for the first time in German professional football when 2.Bundesliga commences its new season. The design of the ball is based on the classic black and white Derbystar look and is complemented by innovative visual elements," said the DFL.

Derbystar succeeded fellow German sports equipment manufacturer adidas as the official match ball of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga, as part of a four-season agreement (2018-2022) on 24/04/2017. adidas had previously been the official match ball supplier for the first two German divisions since the 2010-11 season.
