FC Bayern Munich have won the 2018-19 Bundesliga title after the 34th and final matchday on 18/05/2019. Therefore, all the champions of the Top 5 European leagues, with the titles clinched in the following chronological order: Juventus FC (at the end of Matchday 33 of the Serie A TIM), Paris Saint-Germain (Matchday 33 of the Ligue 1 Conforama), FC Barcelona (Matchday 35 of LaLiga Santander), Manchester City FC (38th and final matchday of the Premier League) and then also Bayern on the last Bundesliga matchday.

For the first time in the history, each of the European Top 5 national champions retained its title from the previous season. The longest running series is that of Juventus, winners, in 2018-19, of their eighth consecutive "Scudetto". Bayern Munich have won their seventh consecutive Bundesliga title.

Over the past 20 seasons, four Top 5 champions have managed to retain their title from one season to the next:
• Manchester United FC, Real Madrid CF, FC Inter Milan and Olympique Lyonnais all repeated, but not VfB Stuttgart, in 2007-08
• Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus FC, FC…
