France: Mastercard (payment) major partner of Olympique Lyonnais Féminine for 3 years (2019-2022)

Mastercard, an American payment solutions group, has become a partner of Olympique Lyonnais' women's team (D1 Féminine) for three seasons (2019-2022), according to the club on 21/05/2019.

Mastercard has the status of a major partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Olympique Lyonnais Féminin. As part of the partnership, OL players Ada Hegerberg (NOR, Ballon d'Or 2018), Kadeisha Buchanan (CAN), Saki Kumagai (JPN) and Wendie Renard (FRA) have been named ambassadors of the brand.

"For over 25 years, Mastercard has been one of the major players in terms of sponsorship of women's football. For its part, Olympique Lyonnais is recognised as the world reference in women's sport," said the club.
