"For the City of Paris, the Women's World Cup 2019 is a major event in the same way as Euro 2016 and all the other major sporting events that we have had the chance to host, with three main challenges:
• To work with the organising committee to deliver the event as efficiently as possible;
• To make the event a legacy lever for women's football;
• To offer spectators a place to celebrate, meet and party," said Jean-François Martins, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Sports and Tourism, during the presentation of the "FIFA Fan Experience" village located at Forum des Halles (Paris, FRA) on 20/05/2019.

"The sponsors of the competition have a right to activate in the village but they have made little use of it. Only Hyundai expressed interest in this possibility. However, sponsors' posters will be displayed in full compliance with Parisian local advertising regulations, which exclude excessive visibility. As for the ticket office in Paris, we have one sold out match and two more to come very soon," explained Jean-François Martins.
