European Cups: BT Sport to broadcast the finals for free on YouTube for the fourth consecutive year

The British telecommunications group BT (British Telecom) will broadcast the 2018-19 Europa League and Champions League finals free of charge on BT Sport's YouTube channel, the BT sport website and in virtual reality on the BT Sport App for the fourth consecutive year, according to the group on 21/05/2019.

The 2018-19 Europa League final will be played between Chelsea FC (Premier League) and Arsenal FC (Premier League) at the Baku Olympic Stadium (69,870 capacity) in Azerbaijan on Wednesday 29/05/2019 at 21:00 CET, while the 2018-19 Champions League final between Liverpool FC (Premier League) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) at the Wanda Metropolitano (68,000 capacity) in Madrid, Spain, on Saturday 01/06/2019 (21:00 CET).

The two competitions are usually only broadcast on BT Sport pay-TV channels. This is the fourth consecutive year that BT has broadcast the European Cup finals for free, even though they are not on the list of major events in the United Kingdom.
