2018-19 Bundesliga TV audiences: an average of 473,000 subscribers per game on Sky Deutschland (-5%)

The 266 Bundesliga matches in 2018-19 broadcast on the channels of the pay-TV group Sky Deutschland generated a cumulative average audience of more than 125 million viewers, or an average of more than 473,000 subscribers per match (-5% vs 2017-18). The audiences of the other 40 Bundesliga matches (306 in total), broadcast by the television group Eurosport via the pay-TV channel Eurosport 2 HD Xtra and the OTT platform Eurosport Player, were not communicated.

With an average of 1.09 million viewers per game, FC Bayern Munich (+10%) once again topped the audience rankings per club ahead of Borussia Dortmund (920,000, +5%). The matches between the two German clubs, which were being played for the title until Matchday 34, the final matchday, broke the audience records for a Bundesliga match on Sky Deutschland (audiences measured since 01/04/2011) with an average of 2.05 million viewers for the first game (10/11/2018) and 2.2 million for the second (06/04/2019).
