Ligue 1 Conforama: Umbro succeeds Hungaria as equipment supplier of Stade de Reims (2019-2024)

Umbro has become a partner and equipment supplier of Stade de Reims (Ligue 1 Conforama) for five seasons (2019-2024), announced the club on 23/05/2019.

The English brand succeeds the French brand Hungaria, the club's equipment supplier since 2016-17. Umbro and Hungaria both belong to Groupe Royer's (FRA) brand portfolio. Before that, the Danish brand Hummel was the equipment supplier of Stade de Reims (2012-2016).

Umbro will benefit from the status of major partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the club. Thus, from 2019-20, Stade de Reims will have three new kit sponsors with a new equipment supplier, a new main shirt sponsor (Hexaom and its brand Maisons France Confort) and a new chest sponsor (EVA Air).

"Umbro will use its expertise to develop match kits, bench kits and sportswear products for fans," said the club. The brand, now based in the USA, will also equip a second Ligue 1 Conforama team in 2019-20, SM Caen (2016-2022), if the club remains in the elite division.
