"As president of the (French) League, I represent 40 clubs (in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2), and it is normal, it seems to me, that while a debate is being held through gatherings and through the media, in which will we all participate, to commit to a vote of the General Assembly of our League and its 40 clubs to know how they would like to position themselves," stated Nathalie Boy de la Tour, president of the LFP, in Monaco on the 27/05/2019, about the Champions League reform project on which UEFA and ECA are working on.
