Ligue 1 Conforama: a record total attendance of 8.67 million spectators in 2018-19 (+1.5%)

"At the end of the 2018-19 season, the Ligue 1 Conforama set a new record for attendance with a total of 8.67 million spectators, an increase of 1.5% compared to the 2017-18 season, which until now had held the previous record with 8.54 million spectators," announced the LFP on 27/05/2019

"With an average of 22,831 spectators per match (compared to 22,586 in 2017-18), the Ligue 1 Conforama continues to grow in a challenging context due to the large number of postponed or delayed matches. This increase in attendance is accompanied by an improvement in the fill rate. The latter increased by 3% to reach a record level, from 71% to 74%," added the LFP.

"These results demonstrate the attractiveness of the Ligue 1 Conforama. The work of the clubs to strengthen the fan experience has resulted in a new historical record. These results are all the more encouraging as the clubs have had to deal with multiple postponements or delayed matches this season.
