LaLiga Santander: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (June 2019)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2018-19 LaLiga Santander have more than 467 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/06/2019. This total makes the LaLiga Santander the most popular Top 5 European league on all three social networks, ahead of the Premier League with an average of 23.3 million fans per club.

Real Madrid CF is the most popular Spanish club with more than 214 million fans, FC Barcelona is second with over 204 million in total. Club Atlético de Madrid completes the podium with over 25.2 million fans.

On Instagram, FC Barcelona posted the best increase in the Top 5 (+2.5 million followers), ahead of Liverpool FC (Premier League, +2 million) and Juventus FC (Serie A TIM, +1.4 million), and passed the 71 million followers mark on this same social network. Valencia CF, winners of the 2019 Copa del Rey (2-1 versus FC Barcelona on 25/05/2019), reached the 600,000 followers mark on Instagram.
