Women's World Cup 2019: sponsors of the competition that begins in Paris (FRA) on 07/06/2019

Orange, a French telecommunications group, became the sixth and final official supporter of the Women's World Cup 2019 on 20/03/2019. Orange joined Arkema (chemicals), SNCF (rail transport), Crédit Agricole (banking), Proman (human resources) and EDF (energy). These companies will continue to activate their partnership throughout the competition and benefit from visibility inside and outside of the stadiums.

"Sports sponsorship is in line with our internal strategy to promote women. Being associated with a women's sports event, football, a sport that still has a masculine image, echoed that of our industrial sector (chemicals), which is still quite masculine. The Women's World Cup 2019 also provides us with an international platform," said Gilles Galinier, vice-president of communications at Arkema, to News Tank Football on 03/12/2018.

The "national supporter" status is the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the competition. The first level is occupied by FIFA's global partners: adidas (GER, equipment manufacturer), Coca-Cola (USA, beverages), Wanda Group (CHN, tourism…
