Felix Magath has been named manager of Fulham FC (Premier League), announced the club on 14/2/2014. He replaces the Dutchman René Meulensteen, who had been in place since 01/12/2013. Magath signed a 18-month contract, which therefore runs until June 2015.

Felix Magath is the third coach of the English club since the start of the 2013-14 season. "I’m especially impressed with the reputation Felix has for coming into clubs at difficult times, often late in the season, and lifting them to their potential and beyond," said Shahid Khan, owner and president of Fulham FC, on 14/02/2014.

  • Felix Magath is the first German head coach of a Premier League club since the inception of the championship in 1992.
  • Fulham FC is in 20th and last place in the Premier League after 26 matchdays (20 points after 6 wins, 2 draws and 18 defeats), 37 points behind leaders Chelsea FC (57 points).
