French LFP: Uber Eats to succeed Conforama as title partner of Ligue 1 for 2020-2022

Uber Eats, a meal delivery application, and subsidiary of Uber, a mobile application that connects independent drivers with passengers registered on the platform, will become an official partner of the LFP from 2019-20, and then the title partner of the French top division for two seasons (2020-2022), which will then be called the "Ligue 1 Uber Eats", announced the French League on 12/06/2019.

Uber Eats will succeed Conforama, a French group specialised in the distribution of furniture, decoration, household appliances and electrical goods, as the title partner of Ligue 1, known as the "Ligue 1 Conforama" for the 2017-2020 cycle after an agreement on 20/04/2017.

The annual sum paid by Uber Eats over the 2020-2022 period will amount to an average of €15m (€14m for 2020-21, then €16m for 2021-22), and €3m for the 2019-20 season. Conforama will continue to pay €7m per season until the end of 2019-20 to the Professional Football League, according to the French media on 20/04/2017.
