"Loftus Road will be renamed The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium from the start of the 2019-20 season. The official unveiling of the new stadium name will take place when QPR play their first competitive fixture of the new campaign," said Queens Park Rangers FC (Sky Bet Championship) on 07/06/2019.

The English club had announced its intention to allocate the naming rights for Loftus Road (18,000 capacity) to a local charity from the 2019-20 season on 17/04/2019. In order to decide on naming, Queens Park Rangers FC offered fans the opportunity to propose a charity of their choice, before making a final selection and then offering fans the opportunity to vote to determine the winner.

The Kiyan Prince Foundation is a charity established by Mark Prince, after the death of his son Kiyan, a player at the Queens Park Rangers FC training centre, who was stabbed to death at the age of 15 in a fight outside his college in May 2006. Aiming to raise awareness among young people against violence, the charity received 63% of the votes cast during the vote organised by the club.
