Premier League: 2019-20 fixtures - title holders Man City to play their first match vs West Ham

Liverpool FC, the 2018-19 Champions League winners, will face Norwich CIty FC on Friday 09/08/2019 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET) in the first match of the 2019-20 Premier League season, the schedule of which was published on Thursday 13/06/2019 (see below).

The first matchday will continue on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11/08/2019. Defending champions Manchester City FC will begin their campaign away to West Ham United FC on Saturday 10/08/2019 (12.30 local time, 13.30 CET), while Manchester United FC will host the 2018-18 Europa League champions Chelsea FC on Sunday 11/08/2019 (16.30 local time, 17.30 CET).

A short winter break will be introduced between Saturday 08 and 22/02/2020. Matchday 38, the final matchday of the 2019-20 Premier League season, is scheduled on Sunday 17/05/2020, 26 days before the opening match of Euro 2020 (in Rome, ITA, on Friday 12/06/2020).
