Premier League: Sportsbet.io (betting) becomes main shirt sponsor of Watford FC (2019-2022)

Sportsbet.io, brand of the Estonian sports betting operator Coingaming, has become a partner and main shirt sponsor of Watford FC (Premier League), announced the London (ENG) club on 16/06/2019. The partnership, which begins in 2019-20, will cover three seasons (2019-2022) according to international media on 16/06/2019.

Sportsbet.io has the status of a main partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the English club. Sportsbet.io succeeds the UK forex trading platform FxPro, Watford FC's main shirt sponsor from 2017-18 to 2018-19 (agreement on 14/06/2017). The agreement with FxPro was initially scheduled to run until the end of 2019-20. FxPro succeeded the Asian online gaming and betting platform 138.com, the club's main shirt sponsor in 2015-16 and 2016-17.

"Not only is it the club's largest ever sponsorship deal but it is the first Premier League shirt front deal signed by a company who are known for their block chain technology and cryptocurrency expertise," said Watford FC.
