Spain: second division matches now streaming free on the league website

The majority of Liga Adelante matches, the Spanish second division, are now broadcast free, through live streaming on La Liga TV, an online TV channel of the Spanish LFP (Professional Football League). This initiative was launched beginning with the 25^th Matchday of championship on 08 and 09/02/2014. The broadcast is available to users without territorial restrictions (in Spain and internationally).

Up to all 11 Liga Adelante (the Spanish second division has 22 clubs) matches will be broadcast each weekend, not all of which are broadcast by Spanish TV channels. The initiative aims to maximize the audiovisual coverage of the Spanish LFP's second division, so no Liga Adelante match will be played without a live broadcast. It also aims to increase the visibility of Spanish football internationally, as well as play a role in the LFP's and the Spanish Higher Council for Sports struggle against the illegal streaming of professional league matches.

Seven matches of the 25^th Matchday of Liga Adelante and eight of the 26^th Matchday have been broadcast live on La Liga TV. The online LFP…
