Chelsea manager José Mourinho became an ambassador of the Swiss watchmaker Hublot on 17/02/2014. José Mourinho, the coach of the London club since 03/06/2013, previously held the Chelsea position between 2004 to 2007. His annual salary is estimated at €12m.

With this new partnership, Hublot is continuing its sport marketing strategy. The watchmaker has, among its ambassadors, footballers Pele and Radamel Falcao (AS Monaco), the sprinter Usain Bolt and basketball player Kobe Bryant. Hublot is also the official timekeeper and official watch of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) until the end of the 2015-16 season.

Hublot will use the image of José Mourinho as part of its advertising campaign for the 2014 World Cup, of which it is the official watch partner.
