Champions League: Atlético Madrid and AC Milan communicate with each other on Twitter

Atlético Madrid (Liga BBVA) and AC Milan (Serie A) launched "#TwitterFairPlay," a joint initiative on the social network Twitter, during the knockout phase of the Champions League on 16/02/2014. The two teams, who meet on 19/02 (in Milan) and 11/03/2014 (in Madrid), have chosen to share digital communications emphasizing respect for the opponent and fair play.

Everyday, Atlético Madrid and AC Milan allow fans to converse together in the initiative on the social network. For example, fans are able to talk to Brazil's Ricardo Kaka (AC Milan) and Spain's David Villa (Atletico Madrid) on Twitter using the words "#TwitterFairPlay," as of 17/02/2014. Fans are also invited to post messages to welcome the opposing team and interact with them.
