Austria - Germany (1-1), a Group H match of 2019 European Under-21 Championship (played in Italy from 16 to 30/06/2019), drew an average of 6.97 million viewers in Germany, on the public-TV channel ZDF, on Sunday 23/06/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

In terms of average audience, the game outperformed Germany - Nigeria (3-0), Round of 16 of the Women's World Cup 2019, which drew an average of 6.49 million viewers on ZDF on Saturday 22/06/2019 (kick-off at 17:30).
