U.S. sportswear supplier Nike unveiled the official uniform for the Australian team for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil on 17/02/2014.

The design of the Australian shirt resembles that of the Brazilian national team, also equipped by Nike, the difference being that the shirt of the FFA (Football Federation of Australia) has a collar. The American supplier was inspired by the uniform worn in 1974 in West Germany by the "Socceroos" at their first appearance in the finals of the World Cup.

In Group B, Australia will face Chile (13/06/2014), the Netherlands (18/06/2014) and Spain (23/06/2014).

  • 10 of the 32 teams at the World Cup will be equipped by the American sporting goods manufacturer Nike, making it the most represented at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil (from 12/06 to 13/07/2014).
