LaLiga Santander: Marathonbet (betting) main shirt sponsor of Sevilla FC for 2 years (2019-2021)

Marathonbet, a British sports betting and gambling operator, has become the main shirt sponsor of Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) for two seasons (2019-2021), according to the Andalusian club on 25/06/2019. Marathonbet will pay an estimated €5m to Sevilla FC per season, according to international media on 25/06/2019.

Marathonbet has the status of primary sponsor, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Sevilla FC. The sportsbook operator succeeds Playtika, an Israeli mobile games developer, and shirt sponsor of the club since 2017-18.

"Marathonbet's logos will appear on the team's shirts, in the stands of the Sánchez-Pijzuán  (42,714 capacity) and in interview zones. Sevillistas, for their part, will be able to enjoy exclusive content, offers and experiences made available by the betting house," said the Spanish club. In LaLiga Santander, Marathonbet is also a main shirt sponsor of Girona FC for the 2017-2019 cycle.
