The Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro is said to have offered €1.193bn per season to the Lega Serie A, over the 2021-2024 cycle, to produce and distribute a Serie A TIM channel, according to the Italian news website Calcio e Finanza on 26/06/2019.

More specifically, Mediapro is proposing €1.06bn for the acquisition of broadcasting rights for 2021-2024, €55m for archive images and €78m for the channel's production.

"In recent weeks, we have been working with the various lawyers and club representatives, carrying out an in-depth and detailed analysis of Mediapro's offer. The strengths and weaknesses of their proposal have been identified. The analysis will continue in order to be able to receive a new reformulated offer based on the clubs' reflections. An offer that we hope will arrive in time for the meeting on 01/07/2019, in which we would like to show the progress made," said Luigi De Servio, CEO of the Italian League, on 26/06/2019.
