Naming: Arkema, Iberdrola, Barclays, Flyeralarm, sponsors of the Top 5 European women's divisions

Arkema, a French chemical and advanced materials group based in Colombes (FRA), obtained, from the FFF, the naming rights for the French Women's first division, which will be renamed "D1 Arkema" from the 2019-20 season, announced the Federation on 21/06/2019. The partnership "was signed for a 3-year period, until the close of the 2021-2022 season," said the FFF. The value of the agreement is estimated at €1m per year, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe on 22/06/2019. The deal will bring in €80,000 for each of the 12 elite clubs.

After the new deal with Arkema, four of the top five professional women's divisions in the Top 5 European leagues have a title sponsor as of 24/06/2019: Barclays (bank) in England, Flyeralarm (online printing solutions) in Germany and Iberdrola (wind energy) in Spain. The only one without a title sponsor is the Italian women's league (Calcio Femminile Italiano).
