AS Monaco-LFP agreement: "We are determined not to drop the matter" (J-F Fortin, Caen)

"Today, I am committed to an inclusive approach. There are seven of us who have begun (this legal process), of course, I follow what the group decides, and we are determined not to drop the matter. We intend to use all legal means to achieve our goal," said Jean-François Fortin, president of SM Caen (Ligue 2), to NTF on 20/02/2014, about the action for annulment brought against the agreement signed on 24/01/2014 between the LFP (French Professional Football League) and AS Monaco (Ligue 1).

This agreement allows AS Monaco to keep its headquarters in the Principality. In return, the club must pay the LFP €50 million over the next two years (€25m each year) and waive their appeal currently before the French Council of State, agreed the two organisations on 29/01/2014.
