Nike: the most represented equipment supplier and biggest spender (€358.6m) in the Top 5 in 2018-19

Revenues from equipment supplier contracts are highly concentrated in the Top 5 European leagues: the 25 clubs that receive the most thanks to their sponsorship contracts total €714.1m, or 88% of the total of the Top 5 in 2018-19 (€812.1m). Of these 25 clubs, nine are partnered with Nike, the most represented equipment supplier (17 clubs under contract) and the biggest spender (€358.6m) in the Top 5 in 2018-19. These nine clubs comprise 95% of the total amount paid by the American brand (€340m).

Nike extended its contract as the official equipment supplier of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) for 10 seasons, until the end of the 2031-32 (2022-2032) season on 28/06/2019. The deal represents "the biggest sponsorship agreement in the club's history," said the club to which Nike will pay around €80m per season from 2019-20 compared to between €20 and €25m for 2014-2019.
