Germany: 2019-20 Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga calendars

"The 57^th Bundesliga season will begin on Friday, 16/08/2019 with the match between the 2018-19 German champions FC Bayern Munich and Hertha BSC (kick-off at 20:30). It will be broadcast live on the public TV channel ZDF and on the OTT platform Eurosport Player," announced the German Football League (DFL) on 28/06/2019, which published the 2019-20 Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga calendars (available to download), the same day.

1. FC Köln, the 2018-19 2.Bundesliga champions, SC Paderborn 07, 2^nd, and 1. FC Union Berlin, winners of the playoffs versus VfB Stuttgart (relegated from the Bundesliga), have been promoted to the Bundesliga for the 2019-20 season.

The 2019-20 edition of the 2.Bundesliga will begin three weeks earlier than the Bundesliga, on Friday 26/07/2019 (20:30 CET), with VfB Stuttgart - Hanover 96, a match between two relegated clubs (the third was 1. Fußball Club Nürnberg), which will be broadcast on Sky, added the DFL.
