FFF: youth coach training partnership with MLS renewed for the 2019-20 season

"The partnership established in 2013 between the Major League Soccer (MLS), the North American professional football league, continues. Noël Le Graët, president of the FFF, and Frédéric Lipka, technical director for youth development at MLS, renewed the agreement for the 2019-20 season at the Federation's headquarters in Paris (FRA) on 26/06/2019," announced the FFF on 01/07/2019.

This partnership involves the training, by the Direction Technique Nationale (National Technical Directorate, DTN), of coaches of youth teams from MLS club academies. "This collaboration has been successful since the first season and testifies to the recognition of French coaching training in a growing football scene in America," said Noël Le Graët.

"The effectiveness of these exchanges between the FFF and MLS should lead MLS clubs to train even more competitive players in the future," said Frédéric Lipka (a French coach who joined MLS in 2012, former head of the Le Havre AC training centre), who initiated this partnership with François Blaquart, former national technical director of the FFF.
