Serie A TIM TV rights (2021-2024): Mediapro has increased its proposal to €1.3bn/year (press)

The Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro is reported to have offered €1.3bn per season to the Lega Serie A over the 2021-2024 cycle, in order to produce and distribute a Serie A TIM channel, according to the Italian news agency ANSA, following the Lega Serie A General Assembly held on 01/07/2019.

Mediapro's proposal will be on the agenda of a new General Assembly to be held in Milan on 08/07/2019 (at noon).

On 26/06/2019, the Italian press reported a Mediapro proposal of €1.193bn per season, including €1.06bn for the acquisition of domestic broadcasting rights for the 2021-2024 cycle, €55m for archive images and €78m for the channel's production.
