eSports: Lagardère and Riot Games join forces to create a German league for League of Legends

Riot Games, publisher of the League of Legends video game; Freaks 4U Gaming, a Berlin-based communications agency specializing in eSports; and Lagardère Sports Germany, the German subsidiary of the Lagardère Sports marketing and media rights agency; are teaming up "to create an exclusive league for German-speaking teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the game League of Legends," indicated the three entities on 02/07/2019.

"The first step in the cooperation is the continuation of the joint implementation of the 2019 Premier Tour, a series of tournaments on the League of Legends game for players in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
